William Lawrence Hart

William L. Hart, age 99, peacefully passed into the loving embrace of His heavenly Father on Sunday, October 6, 2024. Born in 1924, he was the oldest son of William and Isabella Hart and brother to Joseph Hart (deceased), Theresa Hall (deceased) and Grace Hart. He is survived by his loving wife, Helen Hart, of 77 years and his 5 children, Patricia Kaelin (Joseph), Richard Hart (Eileen), Robert Hart (Susan), Ann Marie Murphy (Daniel) and Barbara Feltkamp (Donald). He has left behind 13 grandchildren (Anthony, Gregory, Brian, Nicholas, Christopher, Elizabeth, Colleen, Kimberly, Melissa, Justin, Ryan, Heather and Sarah) and 25 great grandchildren (Spencer, Reese, Hunter, Hudson, Riley, Sydney, Luca, Annabella, Nicholas, Julia, Silas, Bella, Harlow, Hailie, Ariella, Kirsten, Kate, Emberly, James, Nathan, Adeline, Reagan, Sofia, Jonah and Elle).

Bill was a WWII U.S. Navy veteran, worked for the NYC Parks Department and was a lifelong musician and gardener who loved to write poetry and short stories. He was known for his outgoing personality and creative wit.
