William J. Bryant

William "Bill" J. Bryant, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, passed away peacefully on August 14, 2025, surrounded by his loved ones. He was 83 years old.  Born on August 28, 1941, Bill lived a rich life marked by his devotion to his family and his faith. He was married to his loving wife, Joy, for 50 years. Bill is predeceased by his parents, siblings, and daughter, Cynthia. He leaves behind a legacy of love, survived by his wife, Joy, and two children; son Bill, married to Wendy, and daughter Doreen, married to Corry. He leaves behind three grandchildren; Nicole, married to Andrew, Christie, married to Jack, and Star, and two great-grandchildren, Teddy and June. Bill also leaves behind a wide circle of friends and family.

Bill was a man of deep faith and hard work. He joined the Army Reserves at the age of 16, where he served for 8 years. Bill worked in construction and remodeling; he had a passion and talent for breathing new life into spaces and creating beautiful homes.

Bill will forever be remembered for his faith, loyalty, gentle humor, and unwavering love for his family. He enjoyed his work, golfing and painting.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 19th, 2025, from 5 to 8 PM at Alexander-Rothwell Funeral Home, 6447 Route 25A Wading River, NY 11792. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 20th, 2025, at 11:30 at St. John the Baptist Church, 1488 N Country Rd, Wading River, NY 11792.
