Thomas Allan Falkenberg
August 19, 1955 – May 10, 2026
Thomas Allan Falkenberg, lovingly known to family and friends as “Ack,” passed away on May 10, 2026, at the age of 70.
Born and raised in Hicksville, Tom later made his home in Arizona before eventually settling in Levittown. Wherever he lived, he brought with him a larger-than-life personality, a quick wit, and a deep devotion to the people he loved.
Tom had a great sense of humor and was known for making people laugh effortlessly. Loyal to both family and friends, he was someone others could always count on. To many, he was simply “Ack,” but to a younger generation he proudly became the original “funcle” — the fun uncle who made every gathering more memorable. His grandson lovingly called him “Grandpa Ack,” a title Tom treasured deeply.
He also had a passion for his favorite toys — especially his two Corvettes and his Harley-Davidson motorcycle — which reflected his adventurous spirit and love of life.
Tom was a beloved son, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend whose warmth and presence touched countless lives.
He is survived by his son, Max Falkenberg; his grandson, Silas Falkenberg; his father, Allan V. Falkenberg; his stepmother, Carol Falkenberg; his sister, Cindy Callahan and her husband John Callahan; his nephew, John Callahan IV and his wife Karen; his nieces, Courtney Espadas and her husband Frank, and Marianne Krol and her husband Brian; as well as seven great-nieces and great-nephews who brought him much joy.
Tom was predeceased by his beloved mother, Marion M. Falkenberg.
“Ack” will be remembered for his humor, his loyalty, his love for family and friends, and the countless memories he created with everyone lucky enough to know him. His legacy lives on in the laughter and stories shared by those he leaves behind.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Thomas’s memory to Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
