Stephen J. O'Connell, age 97, of Wading River, NY, passed away on August 27, 2026. Visitation will take place on Tuesday, September 1, 2026, from 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM at Alexander-Rothwell Funeral Home located at 6447 Route 25A Wading River NY 11741. A funeral mass will take place on September 2, 2026, at 10:00 AM at St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church located at 614 Route 25A, Rocky Point NY 11778. A burial will follow at 11:30 AM at Calverton National Cemetery located at 210 Princeton Blvd, Calverton NY 11933.
