Salvatore C. Mastropaolo

Salvatore C. Mastropaolo, 81, of Calverton passed away peacefully on June 22, 2025.  He was born in the Bronx where his and his future wife’s families both lived in the same building.  After marrying, they moved upstate to Poughkeepsie, NY where they began their family.  He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Anna, his son Vincent (Janine) of Wading River, his son Robert (Gia) of Levittown, his daughter Michelle (Steve) of Calverton, and his 6 grandchildren: Stephen, Lauren, Allyson, Daniel, Ryan and Sara, and his sisters, Rosalie Annunziata Rosarie Mastropaolo and brother Frank Mastropaolo, all of Poughkeepsie, NY..

After his retirement from IBM where he worked for over 30 years, he enjoyed spending his free time golfing, bowling, gardening, and watching his grandchildren play sports.

Visitation will be at Alexander Rothwell Funeral Home in Wading River, on Tuesday, June 24, from 4-8pm.  A funeral service will be held at St John the Baptist church in Wading River on June 25, 2025 at 10:00 am.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital.
