Robert “Bobby” Whalen, born September 7, 1955, passed away peacefully on April 4, 2022 surrounded by family. Husband of Jackie Rockowitz. Predeceased by Rahma Whalen, his first wife. Loving stepfather to Joshua (Kallie) Rockowitz, Jaimeson (Stephanie) Rockowitz, and Carleen Rockowitz. Grandfather of Riley Jay and Emily Rose Rockowitz. Loved by his extended Rockowitz family. Loving pet Dad to Nina, Lily, Luna, Lexi, Stinky Man and Hammie. As per Pop, “He was a gift”.
Memorial Visitation will take place on Thursday, April 7, from 2:00-4:00 PM & 7:00-9:00 PM at Alexander-Rothwell Funeral Home, located at 6447 Route 25A, Wading River, NY. A Mass will take place on Friday, April 8, at 10:00 AM at St. John the Baptist R.C. Church, Wading River, NY. Interment will follow at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, Center Moriches, NY.
