Paul McCusker, 82 of Wading River, NY passed away on Sunday, February 16th.

Paul was born in Brooklyn, NY and lived in Wading River for over 60 years. Paul was the loving husband of Corinne, father of Veronica and Kenneth, grandfather of Michael, Peyton, Derek, Olivia and Nathan, and great grandfather of Mia Rose.

Paul was a proud Veteran of the US Navy who cherished his time serving aboard the USS Constellation CVA 64. He was an original crew member and proud to be a Plank Owner, with crewmates who became and still are some of his closest friends.

Paul retired from the Suffolk County Police Department (6th Precinct) where he proudly served for 36 years with his Brothers in Blue, many of which who were forever part of his life. 

He was a lover of the outdoors, especially being on the water, boating and fishing with his family and friends. He was the best and will forever be cherished in our hearts.

Visitation will take place on Sunday, February 23, from 2:00 -5:00 PM, and Monday, February 24, from 10:30-11:00 AM. Interment with Navy Honors will follow on Monday, February 24, at 11:30 AM at Calverton National Cemetery.
