Mark D. Trettner

It is with great sadness that the family announces the sudden passing of Mark Trettner at the age of 44, of Middle Island, NY. Mark passed away peacefully with his daughter and sister by his bedside on May 2, 2023.  In addition to his family, he will be missed greatly by his coworkers and regular customers at Applebee’s.

His family is deeply saddened but their love for him and their memories of him will continue to remain strong. He is now resting peacefully in the hands of our loving Father, Lord Jesus Christ.

He is survived by his parents, George and Rita Trettner; daughter, Kara Lemmon; sister, Dawn Trettner; and brothers, George Jr., Paul and wife, Kim; Tim and wife, Julie Trettner.  He is also survived by niece and nephews, Olivia, P.J. and Nicholas.

Mark loved playing guitar, going to concerts with friends, the Mets, and especially music.  He loved his job and coworkers and spoke often of his faithful customers.

 He was a kind and gentle spirit.  Mark will be dearly missed and always remembered by his family and friends.

Services will be held at Alexander Rothwell Funeral Home in Wading River, NY on Saturday, May 6, 2023 from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m. and from 7:00 – 9:00 p.m. for all friends and family.
