John A. Searing, age 80 of Ridge, passed away suddenly on September 8, 2023. Beloved husband of the Late Catherine Searing. Loving Father of John (Michele), Ann, Matthew (Jacqueline), Paul, Amy and Daniel. Adoring Papa of Jennifer, Stephanie, Jackson and Cheryl. Lover of Doo-Wop music who sang in many groups through the years. Ex-Captain of Shoreham Fire Company of the Rocky Point Fire Department. Memorial visitation will take place on Friday, September 15, from 6:00 PM - 9:00 PM at Alexander-Rothwell Funeral Home, located at 6447 Route 25A, Wading River, NY. A Mass of Chrisitan Burial will take place on Saturday, September 16, 9:30 AM, at St. Anthony’s Church in Rocky Point, NY.
