John C. Murray

John C. Murray of Baiting Hollow, NY, passed away on Sunday, October 17, 2021. He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Sharon, his son, John Christopher, daughter-in-law, Jun, and grandson, Kelvin. John proudly served in the U.S. Navy, after which he earned a Master's Degree in Urban and Regional Planning from Texas A&M University. He worked as a planner until his retirement. He loved baseball, spending time at the beach, and watching his grandson play soccer. He so enjoyed talking to everyone, sharing his love of history, especially that of Long Island. John was such a kind, gentle man who cherished his family dearly. 

Visitation will take place on Monday, October 25, 2021, 10:00-12:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Calverton National Cemetery at 12:45 p.m.
