Helen M. Fell

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Helen Marie Fell, age 86, on June 24, 2024. She passed away peacefully in South Carolina.

Helen was born on April 8, 1938 in Brooklyn, NY to William Spinelli and Gertrude Reilly. She was a beloved mother of 4, grandmother of 10, great grandmother of 6 (with one on the way), sister, aunt and friend. She was a pillar of strength, kindness and compassion to all who knew her.

Helen dedicated her life to, simply put, her family. She was known for her special talents as a cook, seamstress, party planner, but most of all a caregiver to her babies (old and young).

She is survived by her husband Edwin Fell, her three sons Edwin, William and Brian, and her daughter Helen Marie Fell. 

A wake will be held at Alexander-Rothwell Funeral Home, 6447 Route 25A, Wading River, NY 11792 on July 11, 2024; 10:00 AM; Interment will be at the Calverton National Cemetery in Wading River, NY.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the North Shore Animal League (https://www.animalleague.org/) in her memory.

Helen will be deeply missed by all who were fortunate enough to know her. Her legacy of love, compassion, and dedication to family and friends will forever remain in our hearts.
