Helen T. Bohn

Our precious mother, Helen T. Bohn, age 94, of Jacksonville Beach, FL passed away peacefully on April 14th, 2022.  Helen was the mother of six children, 17 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren. Helen was born on November 8th, 1927 in Queens, NY to Harold Zinser and Kathleen Rube Zinser. She is survived by five of her children, Diane Sedlak of New Port Richey, FL, Barbara Fogus of Ridge NY; Laura Hannigan (Peter Hannigan) of Ponte Vedra Beach FL; Jeanne Lupo of Huntington Sta. NY; and John (Jack) T. Bohn (Gwendolyn Sinkusky Bohn) of Miller Place NY.  Helen was predeceased by her husband,John (Jack) T. Bohn (1997) and son, Thomas G. Bohn (2014). Her family grieves her loss, but they take comfort knowing that she is with Jack and Tom again.

Helen was an avid reader, enjoyed golf, bowling and Mah Jongg. She also loved to travel and had been all over the world. She especially loved going to Las Vegas. Mom was a devout Catholic and had a special relationship with Father Larkin. Father Larkin was such a blessing to her and our family.

A Memorial Visitation will take place on Monday, May 23, 2022, from 6:00-9:00 PM, at the Alexander-Rothwell Funeral Home, located at 6447 Route 25A, Wading River, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Tuesday, May 24, 2022, 10:00 AM, at St. John the Baptist R.C. Church, Wading River, NY. Interment will follow at Calverton National Cemetery.
