In Loving Memory of Giuseppe Mazzuca September 20, 1931 – January 24, 2025

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Giuseppe Mazzuca, born on September 20, 1931, in San Fili, Cosenza, Italy, to Alberino and Maria Cristina. He was the beloved son of a family of 14 siblings. Giuseppe left Italy in pursuit of better opportunities, first traveling to Brazil for work, before joining family in Canada, and ultimately settling in the United States. It was in the U.S. that he met his cherished wife, Jennie Tosca. They married and built a life together until Jennie’s passing in 1996. They were blessed with one daughter, Maria Christine. Giuseppe dedicated his career to serving others. He worked for the Otis Elevator Company and later spent over 30 years with Con Edison, where he formed lasting friendships and contributed his skills with pride and integrity. A devoted family man, Giuseppe’s smile had the unique ability to light up every room he entered. His presence was always felt, and his joy was infectious. Known for his unyielding drive and hard working spirit, Giuseppe never sat still—always finding something to do, always pushing forward. He taught us all the value of perseverance, hard work, and the importance of family. Giuseppe’s legacy is one of love, devotion, and an unwavering commitment to those he held dear. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
