Edward J Pitts

Edward Pitts was born and raised in Bayridge Brooklyn.  He was a long time resident of Shoreham, New York. He served in the Army and worked for over fifty years in the Maritime industry as a tugboat and ferry captain.  He loved to travel around the world. He is predeceased by his wife, Catherine Pitts to whom he was married to for fifty years. He is also survived by his sister Jean Ebbitt (George) and predeceased by his sisters Delores Fair and Janet Doyle. He is survived by his children Dorothy Chalker, Michael Pitts (Kathren), Maureen Lin (Jen Jar), Joe Pitts (Marion Tang), Catherine Mirabell (Richard) and Diane Jones.  In addition, he has 13 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
