Douglas Coughlan

Douglas Coughlan passed away on Saturday January 9, 2021 He is survived by his loving mother, Barbara, his children, Douglas III, Christine and Barbara. His caring brother Robert and sister Lois Ruth. His grandchildren Emma, Kiley, Ava and Brook. He is also survived by is companion Maryfran Fantigrossi.

Mr. Coughlan served in the United States Army from 1966-1968 and was in the Reserves till 1972. He earned a Bachelors Degree in college which gave him the opportunity to become a Lieutenant for the NYPD for which he proudly served till his retirement from the 109 precinct in 1994.

Mr. Coughlan's funeral will be on Friday January 15, 2021. Family and friends will meet at the Alexander-Rothwell Funeral Home 6447 Route 25A Wading River, NY at 11am.

We will pass by his house as we proceed to Calverton National Cemetery. The Army Honor guard will perform a flag folding ceremony followed by committal prayers.
