Birga Hadley passed away peacefully on February 18, 2025, at the age of 80. She was born on November 19, 1944, in Germany. Always talented in Design she later made her lovely home in Wading River, New York. She raised her son there, and dedicated her career to education as a teacher’s assistant in the Shoreham-Wading River School District where she made a lasting impact on many students.

Birga, a very generous and caring person, loved nature and the outdoors, especially the beach. She found joy in all things surrounding her, her lovely garden and her beloved animals.

Nature was her sanctuary; she embraced every opportunity to be in the outdoors. 

Birga is survived by her son Morgan and his wife Dorothy; her much loved grandchildren Bryce and Alex; and her dear sisters, Freya and Margret. 

Birga’s love for nature and animals will be always remembered by those who knew her. May remembering her bring comfort to all who mourn her passing.
