Amelia R.C. Salinero

“Amelia Salinero, of Wading River, passed away peacefully at her home on June 17, 2022. Her thirst for knowledge, determination to live life doing what is right, and deep love for her family and friends were her signature and defining grace. 
She was predeceased by her dear husband of 25 years, Alvaro, in 1982.  Amelia is survived by her beloved children, daughters: Amie Salinero, Amparo Salinero, and Almudena (Gary) Pirozzi, who lived close to her on Long Island, her son, Alvaro (Patricia) Salinero of Albany, New York, and her former son-in-law, Ramin Alemzadeh, of Tennessee.
She's further survived by her cherished grandchildren: Darius (Asma), Alicia (Greg), Ariani (Joe), Bijan, Nicholas (Melissa), Abby (Cary), Julie (Trey), and Ethan.  
Additionally, Amelia had several loving brothers, sisters and their extended families in Spain and Germany.
She will be forever in our hearts."
