Alice Brandsema was born in Manhattan to Gaetano and Alice Cruciani in 1948. Alice was a 41yr resident of Wading River, she passed away peacefully on September 10th with her family by her side. Alice was a teacher for over 30yrs within Sachem School District, a lover of travel, theater, fine dining, gardening and storytelling. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, cousin, aunt, and friend to so many near and far. She is survived by her husband of 48yrs Casey and her two daughters Pamela Brandsema-Grau (Kenneth Grau), Dana Brandsema (Alaina Maloney), siblings, nieces and nephews.
Flowers can be sent to the funeral home or in- lieu of Flowers donations can be made in Alice’s name to the Retired Educators Sachem Chapter(RESC) Scholarship Fund

Visiting will be held at Alexander-Rothwell Funeral Home in Wading River Monday June 12th, 2-4pm & 7-9pm. Funeral procession to Calverton National Cemetery will be held Tuesday June 13th, at 9am from the funeral home.
