Alberta Wrigley was born on April 7, 1946 in Queens, NY to her parents Mary and John Kulp. She lived in Whitestone until she was 18 then moved to Rocky Point, NY. She married the love of her life, Edward Wrigley and had two children Kenneth and Melissa. She worked as a teachers assistant for the Shoreham Wading River School District for 15 years and then as a real estate agent for Albo Agency in Rocky Point for 25 years before finishing her career at Stop & Shop's Peapod at the age of 68. Alberta loved horseback riding. She was a member of the Smithtown Hunt for many years. She had horses from her 20's into her early 60's. She is survived by her son Kenneth Wrigley, daughter in law Trudie Wrigley and three grandchildren Kyle Wrigley, Courtney Wrigley and Ashley Izzo.
Memorial Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 19, 2023 from 2-4 PM at the Alexander-Rothwell Funeral Home in Wading River. A Funeral Service will begin on Sunday at 4:00 PM at the Funeral Home. Cremation was held in private.
